Buenos días!. He leido unas contradicciones acerca de la ISO 17799. Tengo dos preguntas concretas:

- Es la norma ISO 17799 certificable, como ISO 9001:2000

- La última norma ISO 17799 es la versión 2000 ó 2004

Veamos, la norma ISO 17799 no es certificable. Únicamente son mejores prácticas.
La que sí es certificable es la BS7799:2 que se apoya en la primera.

Es decir certificamos la BS7799:2 pero para implantarla necesitamos los controles de la ISO 17799.

La última versión de la ISO 17799 se publico la semana pasada y es la ISO 17799:2005 (Hasta entonces estaba la 2000). La puedes encontrar en la página de la ISO. la BS7799:2 la puedes encontrar en la página de BSI. Lo único que dado que la ISO es muy nueva no ha dado tiempo de momento (o eso creo) a actualizar la BS por lo que si lees la BS te dirá que los controles los debes tomas de la ISO 17799:2000 y no de la ISO 17799:2005. En principio eso debe cambiar (si no lo ha hecho ya)

Es la ISO 27001 la certificable???? Es la que remplaza a la BS 7799 - 2 ???

Sip, la ISO 27001 es o mejor dicho será certificable.

De momento se ha publicado el borrador final y no será oficial hasta finales de 2005 o principio de 2006 .

Hasta entonces las certificables son la BS 7799:2 o UNE 71502 en España

¿Podría alguien orientarme del impacto que tendría en una empresa la implantación de la ISO 17799? Económico, a nivel estructural, de gestión... Básicamente, ¿qué cambios relevantes se pueden apreciar? Gracias
